Earth Works

Earthworks are engineering projects made possible by the processing of large amounts of soil or unconsolidated rock from certain areas of the earth’s surface. Earthworks wants to lessen human dependency on new mining while assisting in a more equitable and just transition away from fossil fuels. To do this, we must: Lessen the direct harm that mining, oil, and gas extraction cause to local communities. Put an end to the gas and oil expansion. Enhancing load bearing capacity, reducing or increasing permeability, and managing shrinkage and swelling are the goals and purview of earthwork operations. Economical results are obtained when appropriate construction methods are employed.
